The Kastimeister (Box Master) competition is open to everyone

The Kastimeister (Box Master) competition is open to everyone.

Places are limited, and the maximum number of participants is 25.

The ticket for an SPL competitor is €5 (an SPL ticket must be purchased beforehand). A Kastimeister-only ticket costs €25. The ticket grants event entry only to the participant and one passenger.

Subwoofer Purchase Eligibility

The right to purchase the competition subwoofer can be obtained by buying the “Kastimeister” participation ticket from the website www.augustfest.ee .

The subwoofer can be purchased from TK Audio Design, and the buyer’s first and last name will be verified against the Kastimeister participant list.

If the buyer does not participate in the competition, TK Audio Design reserves the right to issue an invoice to the buyer for the difference between the promotional price and the regular retail price of the subwoofer.

If the participant already owns the subwoofer, judges have the right to inspect and verify the originality of the subwoofer.

General Rules  

The measurement vehicle will be a Street class Ford Fiesta.

Frequency: Unlimited.

Competition subwoofer: DD Audio – 508e D2

Amplifier: TBA

Power limit: 1500W, which will be measured in real time.

Measurements will be performed using a sine wave at the frequency chosen by the participant within one minute.

If the power limit is exceeded, the result is automatically invalid.

During testing, the highest valid result from three test measurements (not exceeding the power limit) will be counted.

Enclosure Construction 

There are no restrictions on enclosure construction, except for the maximum dimensions.

Material is free to choose, including port size and length.

The subwoofer must be easily removable from the enclosure. For connection, the enclosure must have a 1 m cable with an XT90 female connector
